Pelvic Floor + Neurological Physical Therapist
She serves women, men, and all gender identities.
Meet Dr. Rachel, a pelvic health provider whose training spans clinical practice, research, and coaching, and she brings all of it to helping you feel like yourself again.
Dr. Rachel's path started with a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University, where she also earned a graduate certificate in Health Literacy. She's a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, trained in motivational interviewing and goal setting, which means she doesn't just treat symptoms. She partners with you to actually reach your goals, even the ones that feel out of reach.
She's currently a PhD candidate in Rehabilitation Sciences at GSU, where she teaches lectures and hands-on courses in the DPT program. She also contributes to stroke rehabilitation research at Emory University, so her clinical approach is always grounded in the latest science.
Rachel is Herman & Wallace trained in pelvic floor rehabilitation, with over 4 years of experience in neurological and medically complex conditions. This gives her a unique lens: she treats the pelvic floor as part of the whole nervous system, not an isolated muscle group, and meets every patient exactly where they are. Making complex health information actually make sense to her patients is a personal mission for her.
Rachel also has specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum care and completed the mentorship program at Barbelle Pelvic Rehab.
Outside the clinic, you'll find her thrifting, soaking up local art, walking the Atlanta Beltline, boxing or kickboxing out her stress, and hanging out with her partner and their sassy tuxedo cat, Lily.
