Prolapse
Pelvic Organ Prolapse
What if…
you weren’t afraid of lifting, moving or having intercourse because of your prolapse?
Types of Prolapse
Cystocele
A cystocele, or bladder prolapse, occurs when the tissue between a woman’s bladder and vaginal wall weakens, causing the bladder to bulge into the vagina.
Uterine
Uterine prolapse is a condition that occurs when the muscles and ligaments supporting a woman’s uterus weaken, causing the uterus to drop down into, or protrude out of, the vagina.
Rectocele
A rectocele is a condition where the wall of tissue that separates the rectum from the vagina weakens. When this occurs, the rectal wall can bulge into the vagina.
